Play With Your Cats

Pets are our best friends and playing with them is one of the nice things that most pet owners love to do. You can establish a bond between you and your cat by playing with her. If you really want your cat to think of you as more than someone, who is there for providing the food, shelter and warmth, then play regularly with your cat, this will ensure that the feline friend view you as an object of his or her affections, and the pet will greet you when you arrive home.

Don’t let your pet think that your hands are playthings. If the cat receives the message that it is ‘ok’ for scratching at, or bite the hands, you then it would be your duty to cure his habit. Playing with your cat also prevents your cat from becoming overweight. Feed your pet cat with a balanced diet, exercise is most important that can help the best to make your kitty healthy.

If you have an indoor cat, then playing with the cat would be an only opportunity for the exertion and staying trim. You can limit the play time to about 15 minutes. Your cat will also become more confident with this. Kittens can also learn how to associate with their siblings and other cats through play, along with the petting sessions. Cat will also learn to interact with humans, and will not shy away or hide. You can use some toys such as toy mouse, for the cat’s play. You should encourage the cat to chase the toy mouse and also allow her to pounce for the kill.
